Ashes

In Norse mythology, the tree of life, Yggdrasil, was an ash. But now the tree of life is dying. Across Europe and North America, the ash is threatened with extinction. 

Ashes is a film about loss, and recovery. It’s about an unfolding ecological disaster, and how we can respond to it. It’s a wake-up call about the global spread of plant disease, and what we stand to lose.
